On arrival we met Bashir. He welcomed us with a smile. He came to help us to carry our suitcase. Both receptionist were accomodating and always happy to make our stay comfortable. They guided us with our daily trip to visit places. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia is around 7 mins walk from hotel. The Grand bazaar is around 20 mins walk. Breakfast was served on top floor, with great view, be mindful there is no lift but we were fine climbing stairs. We will love to revisit Asmali hotel again. We enjoyed our stay.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel during my visit to Istanbul. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk from all the main attractions I wanted to see, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They helped me arrange a taxi to the airport with no hassle, and what truly stood out was their kindness when I accidentally left behind some souvenirs I had purchased for my family. To my surprise and gratitude, they managed to mail them to my next hotel in Turkey. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. Each morning, the breakfast was an absolute delight—more like a daily feast—with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. It was the perfect way to start the day. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. The warm, helpful staff and excellent location made it a memorable stay.

Right near the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and a walk to The Grand Bazaar. The hotel staff are lovely and very welcoming, especially Ramazan who works on reception. I arrived very early and they let me eat breakfast with the staff and the manager checked me in early to an upgraded room. The breakfast was plentiful and you can have it on the rooftop enjoying the sea or Mosque views, or in the breakfast room. It was also great to come back to a quiet area after a day of being in the summer tourist crowds, and to go for a walk along the water front.

Hotel in a very nice neighborhood walking distance to historic Sultanahmet, view of the Bosphore at breakfast on its terrace, the plus is the friendliness of the host, we mentioned to him our shower head had given up and he had it fixed right that day, it was a breeze booking and staying there, on our request we had a safe shuttle at our departure to the airport. Recommended!

The receptionist, Jaffar (hopefully I got his name right), welcomed us with a smile. Our room had already been prepared, and he allowed us to check in early. The room was quite nice, with everything we needed. In the morning, we headed to the breakfast, which was served on the top floor of the hotel. Eating our meal on the roof on a sunny day was truly amazing! Thanks to the hotel staff's help, we could easily get to the airport the next day without any delays or problems. I highly recommend this fantastic place!

The location is excellent. It’s close to the tourist sights and we were able to walk places which was good to avoid the traffic. Besir at the reception was very kind and helpful. He was very cooperative helping with our luggage, despite of no call from us. He followed the checkout time. We booked this hotel again from 14-17 April.

We had a really nice stay here. Perfect location, right behind the Sultan Ahmed mosque. The room was clean, toiletries and a hair dryer were provided. Nice selection in the breakfast buffet, every day a new item, and the kitchen lady war very nice and helpful. Upon departure the reception guy called us a taxi and helped with our bags. Would stay here again

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is in the old center, near the Blue Mosque, markets, 10 minutes from the public transport. The staff is very kind, telling you what you can visit in Istanbul. The breakfast is varied. The quadruple rooms are a little bit small. But the bathroom is big enough and clean.

Fantastic location! Close to attractions in old city Sultanahmet, great nigh life and host is very helpful. They provided parking space which is great for someone coming by car. It was safe and the they made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast is good and when we left (very early) - as we had to drive a long way - they offered some sandwiches for us. WIll return if will have the chance. Thanks
